Prom princess

Megan attended her first ever prom,well its called a formal but she was so excited and looked so pretty and even had a date who waited outside for her with a red rose,all this and only 11,uh oh what are we in for in the coming years,my little girl is becoming a young lady

She can go super fast but we are always one step behind her just incase

Christmas tree faries

Who needs a christmas tree when my two little christmas faries make a set of lights look so magical

Let it snow ,let it snow,let it snow

At the weekend we had a big snow fall,it was rather scarey at the time as I was driving home from the city at the time and I could not even make out the road the snow had fallen so fast.
When I arrived home I found a very red faced happy little boy throwing snowballs and my whole body relaxed at the sight of my 2 boys playing in the stuff that had just had me gripping my steering wheel so tight my hands had set in one position.

I love snow,but not when I have to drive in it!!!
We had the whole weekend with snow and then by monday morning it had all vanished like it had never been here at all.

Lurking in the graveyard

I am doing a photography course at the moment and we are set projects every week.
This week was night photography and as I was driving back home the other night I saw the churchyard all lit up looking very pretty and as you need either a tripod a VERY steady hand or somewhere to place the camera with a slow shutter speed it meant that I had to dodge down by the side of the church gates and the only shot that was in view was this spooky grave stone

Suddenly this figure appeared making me jump out of my skin but I actually made him jump more than me,I guess i did look a bit odd crouching down besides the grave stones!!!!

Booo!!!!

We had a great Halloween.I just love this time of year when the nights get all chilly and there is a magic feeling in the air.

We could not face the millions of knocking spooks at our door this year so we decided to go to a theme halloween event and although I was a little unsure how my middle monster would be,he was either going to be mage scared or just unphased by it,you never can tell with Daniel.

The terror trail as it was called was lit by pumpkins and along the way we encountered spooks and gouls who jumped out of the forest trees and Daniel laughed his little socks off all the way round

I cant believe where the last 4 years have gone and my baby boy is 4 years old.
Daniel is sweet,caring,sensitive,fun,happy,loving,strong headed,clever,handsome,just completely wonderful and he is loved so very much

Police,camrea ,action

The sun shone on at the police gala day at the weekend and we saw so many big trucks and cars and bikes.
Daniel was quite a little monkey as he can be when there are fair rides and just as last year spent most of the day with a grumpy face as he wanted this or that ride.
I had visions of him loving all the big trucks and being happy to just watch and wonder,Haha not a chance,ahh well there is always next year!!!

Megan you are growing up too fast

Well the day finally arrived and with shiny new shoes and a blazer to grow in to Megan has now started her new college.

She is loving her new school and has even gone to bed at a kind of decent hour ready for school on a saturday!!!!
Yes SATURDAY!!! she now has to go to school on saturday too and she tells me for now she is looking forward to it,I do hope that this feeling goes on and that her school days are a lot happier than mine when I was her age.

I am the proudest mum ever!!!!

Constable country

My version of the famous painting

We visited John constable country at the weekend and stood on the exact spot that the famous painter stood at while he was inspired to paint the is picture.

I do understand why he felt the urge as it was a beautiful place only mildly spoilt by time but mostly untouched
